Your quote request

If you select “Get pricing now”, Better Home Direct receives the name, email address, phone number, project address, postcode and roofing, double-glazing or guttering choices you provide. We also keep the time and wording of your request and a submission identifier so that we can respond to the project you asked about and avoid duplicate records. Providing these details is voluntary, but without them we cannot respond to a request for local pricing and offers.

The request asks Better Home Direct to contact you by phone or email about that project. It does not sign you up for unrelated marketing or authorise automated calls or texts. You may ask us to stop contacting you.

How we use and share requests

We rely on legitimate interests to handle enquiries people send us, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions and maintain accurate records of what they asked us to do. We limit the form to information relevant to those purposes. Requests are stored in a restricted ElevenLeads lead-management system. The form does not automatically send details to installers or lead buyers. A company shown in a directory does not receive your request merely because you viewed its page. We will update this notice before introducing a different use or sharing your contact details with an installer.

Storage and retention

Our website is hosted in the United States. Our lead-management system and its hosting providers process information needed to store and secure enquiries. We keep an enquiry while it is needed to handle the request, resolve related questions and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. We review deletion requests individually rather than treating a submitted request as permission to keep details for unrelated future marketing.

Your choices and rights

Contact support@betterhomedirect.co.uk to ask for access to your information, a correction or deletion, or to ask us to restrict its use. Some rights depend on the circumstances and the reason the information is held.

Your right to object: You may object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests. You have the right to object to any direct marketing. Email us at support@betterhomedirect.co.uk to exercise this right or ask us to stop contacting you about your request.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Postcode area finder

If you use the area finder, your browser sends the postcode to Postcodes.io to identify its area and coordinates. For locations in England or Wales with usable coordinates, your browser sends the coordinates—not the full postcode—to an ArcGIS-hosted built-up-area boundary service using Office for National Statistics geography data. For Scottish locations, your browser checks the returned grid coordinates against a locally hosted, reviewed subset of National Records of Scotland 2022 Census locality boundaries; that boundary check does not send the postcode to NRS. An exact match to a reviewed boundary and a published town page may open that page. If the lookup is unavailable, uncertain, or has no reviewed town match, the finder offers broader service links. It does not determine the geographically nearest town or whether a company covers your address. External lookup providers may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and have their own privacy practices. The area finder does not submit your name, email or phone number as a quote request.

Website operation

Our hosting provider receives ordinary access and security information when you visit the site. We use locally hosted fonts. When a quote form is active, a secure session cookie protects the submission; it is not used to remember your contact details for advertising.
